So no one can promise you that your life will always be sunshine and rainbows forevermore. As long as we’re here we will have growing pains, even with all the happiness information in the world. It Doesn’t Have To Be So HardHowever, I CAN promise you that if you take to heart and test out the suggestions on this page, you will move more quickly and easily through your growth phases and be well on your way to finding happiness. You will begin to “grow” happiness within you in your own unique way. Your experience of true happiness may start out as a tiny seedling but as you feed it with these suggestions and your own self-care, it will grow bigger and stronger. Whether it’s taking care of your plants, pets, or a loved one, or volunteering your time and love, having someone else’s best interests at heart can turn your energy around from negative to positive. One of the best ways to learn how to be happy is to want happiness for another. Start Where You AreDon’t underestimate the power of these suggestions. They may seem simple, and actually, they are. Yet each of them is also profoundly powerful. As you read through the list, notice which ones spark your interest. Start there. It is important to start where you are and expand out from there. Another important point is to not judge yourself on how well you do any of these points. No one is keeping score on how well you’re learning how to be happy! Be kind to yourself. You will know how well you’re doing by how well you’re feeling. Your outlook may change in small steps, but it WILL change. Don’t give up. Keep at it.
